Hisense offers a range of feature-packed smart TVs in 2022, with the new and improved VIDAA U6 operating system onboard.
A big screen Hisense TV has become a popular fixture in Australian homes, reflecting the brand’s reputation for delivering affordable, state-of-the-art UHD smart TVs with next-generation content access, major streaming services and sports providers, and Dolby Vision and HDR10 support for a rich, cinematic experience whatever you are watching.
“As technology and entertainment have diversified, so too have the needs of the new age consumer. Each has unique and specific needs, which is why we are focused on delivering a range of feature rich models at an affordable price point,” says Nick Peters, Head of Marketing at Hisense Australia.
“Whether you’re looking to watch the weekend footy, challenge your friends at the latest video game, or stream the latest blockbuster, there is a TV in our new range that can meet and surpass your expectations.”
In keeping abreast with the latest innovations in smart TV tech, the 2022 range will run an upgraded version of Hisense’s proprietary operating system, VIDAA (see breakout), with the TVs standardising some key features across the ULED range, several of which will excite dedicated gamers.
Complementing the Game Mode Pro option is Quick Frame Transport (QFT), which automatically puts each frame at a higher rate to decrease input lag and ensure smoother play, while HDMI 2.1 inputs further up the ante for gamers. Quantum Dot Colour, Full Array Local Dimming Pro and Smooth Motion tech are also available as standard features, along with Google and built-in Alexa voice control assistants.
When it comes to the big game, sports fanatics need only engage Sports Mode for a premium match day event. This picture optimiser adjusts the TVs refresh rate to match the speed of the game, and together with the enhanced clarity provided by Smooth Motion Rate (SMR), fast-moving action remains silky smooth and judder-free.
Dolby Vision IQ has become a new TV buzzword and the tech has been implemented in Hisense’s flagship mini LED range to automatically adjust and maintain the perfect blacks and contrast of HDR content in a variety of room lighting conditions.
Together with Dolby Atmos audio, the next-level picture quality of Dolby Vision IQ truly brings movies and the cinema experience to life at home.
An IMAX Enhanced viewing option – that reproduces the large film format as the filmmaker intended – has also begun to pop up on the latest smart TVs and is featured on Hisense’s 2022 range, with the exception of the U7H and A7H series.
For those keen to upsize to a bigger screen, the Hisense U9H ULED 4K Mini LED TV is a flagship model available in 65”, 75” and 85” and features the aforementioned Dolby Vision IQ as well as QLED Quantum Dot for eye-popping colour reproduction. Add ULED Mini LED Pro tech, which uses advanced backlighting to control more local dimming zones, and the result is picture perfect.
There is also support for Dolby Atmos 2.1.2-channel audio with simple eARC connection via a single HDMI cable.
If the full gamut of smart functionality doesn’t fit your allocated budget, the U7H ULED 4K TV incorporates the suite of 2022 standard features and is powered by Full Array Local Dimming for independent LED zone adjustment, reducing backlight intensity and increasing contrast in dark scenes.
Bringing its most expansive range to date in 2022, Hisense continues its commitment to deliver high-end and feature-packed smart TVs that offer premium picture quality and a wealth of entertainment options at an attainable price point.
