Album cover artwork for DC Gore with blue vinyl record popping outHailing from the creative hub of South London, indie star-in-the-making DC Gore pairs ’80s synth-pop with sharp social commentary.

All These Things is the former Little Cub frontman’s debut solo record, opening with the sound of waves crashing onto the shore as a bubbling synth introduces Millennium People, a six-minute political lamentation set to a new wave backbeat. Gore alternates between charming and self-deprecating, his understated vocal giving room for a cascade of synths to be unveiled over the course of the album’s nine tracks.

A buoyant energy gives the record an undeniable rhythm, compelling the listener to dance whilst Gore’s lyrics subtly demand your attention.

All These Things by DC Gore is out July 29 via Domino.
