Eight years after their self-titled debut, Seeker Lover Keeper – Sarah Blasko, Sally Seltmann and Holly Throsby – return with album number two, a collection of wistful ruminations on the passing of time.
“When we were younger we said we’d always remind each other of who we are,” they declare in the opening track, Superstar, a piano ballad filled with haunting harmonies. They have remained true to themselves, delivering an exquisite record about dreams and decisions, youth and yearning. If this is not at least nominated for Best Adult Contemporary Album at the ARIAs there’s something seriously wrong.
Wild Seeds by Seeker Lover Keeper is out August 9 via Liberation.
