It’s been revealed that prior to this year’s Rio de Janeiro Olympics, rising Aussie star Darren Hart was recruited to participate in an international collab track for the event.

Titled The Fire, the song was recorded with The Roots’ Questlove, Lenny Kravitz, Corrine Bailey Rae, Our Darren and several other artists. In the below video, Harts discusses the influence of his own athletic discipline as a kid.

From the presser:

Although the song never received an official release during the Olympics campaign, this recently surfaced interview feature shows all the artists involved in the recording and discusses how they found inspiration from the theatre and glory that is the Olympics and the competitive Olympic spirit.
