Here’s what you should be spinnin’ this weekend.

The National, Guilty Party

Is it just me or does every time you hear The National, you feel the need to sit in the bottom of the shower and reconsider every decision you have ever made in your life? Oh, it’s just me? Nevermind.

Their new album Sleep Well Beast is out September 9 via Remote Control.

Tyler, The Creator, Who Dat Boy feat. A$AP Rocky

I have been waiting for this collab longer than your little brother/cousin/kid that skates past your house has been buying fake Supreme shirts of eBay – Chalk and cheese served on caviar trays.

Billie Eilish, Bored

Californian indie-pop princess Billie Eilish is 15 years old, let that sink in. 15. What were you doing when you were 15? I was fighting with my brother about who got to use msn messenger after dinner. TTYL GTG.

Cub Sport, O Lord

Cub Sport are the best pop band in Australia. End of story.

The Creases, Is It Love

In the film clip for Is It Love – the latest Melbourne group from The Creases – the lads accidentally mistake The Tote in Melbourne for a BDSM club and to be fair, apart from the gimp ball wearing security guard it’s an easy mistake to make. I mean, The Tote doesn’t even have security most the time.

The band is about to head around the country with Hatchie in support. Catch them at your local BDSM club during September. Grab a ticket or ten from here: https://www.musicglue.com/thecreases/shows

Friday 8 September – Rocket Bar, Adelaide SA
Saturday 9 September – Jack Rabbit Slims, Perth WA
Friday 15 September – Howler, Melbourne VIC
Saturday 16 September – The Lair, Sydney NSW
Friday 22 September – The Zoo, Brisbane QLD

Bonus Round:

Got time to talk about Kendrick Lamar? How long you got? I could go on all day but I’ll just take five minutes of your time to show you the new film clip to ELEMENT. from the very excellent DAMN. (which we reviewed here)
