It’s like we’re smack back in the middle of the 1990s, with news that Backstreet Boys have signed a new recording deal and dropped a new single.
Entitled Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, it isn’t a cover of the rather classic Elton John and Kiki Dee duet, but rather a shiny new banger written by Wrabel, who – on top of his solo stuff – has penned tunes for the likes of Ellie Goulding, Adam Lambert and Pentatonix.
While they probably should be calling themselves the Backstreet Blokes now, they still have all the classic moves – and hooks. Check them out here…
The band (and their collective single bottom, it seems) are promising plenty more to come.
“We’ve been working our ass off for 25 years,” says AJ McLean, “and with the support of RCA and our contemporaries, we know we’ll be performing for fans, both old and new, for a really long time. It feels like we’re just getting started.”
