Talk about a difficult next album, this one’s taken renowned soundtrack king Danny Elfman 37 years to get happening!
Entitled Big Mess, the 18-track double album was almost entirely created during quarantine last year. It’s due to hit on June 11.
Guest musos include Josh Freese (Devo, Weezer, The Vandals), bassist Stu Brooks (Dub Trio, Lady Gaga, Lauryn Hill) and guitarists Robin Finck (Nine Inch Nails, Guns N’ Roses) and Nili Brosh (Tony MacAlpine, Paul Gilbert).
“I knew from the start that this wasn’t going to be a neat, easy-to-categorise record,” says Elfman. “It was always destined to be this crazy cacophony, because that’s who I am. The Big Mess is me.”
