Twisted Sister’s notoriously outspoken frontman Dee Snider has posted a message for “Roger Goodell and the NFL, and Jay Z and Roc Nation” on his Insta, urging them to lock in some “real rock, hard rock” at the next Super Bowl halftime show.

Snider stressed that while he’s all for every genre of music getting their turn on the half-time stage, it’s been waaaaaaay too long since a hard rock band represented.

“There’s a lotta boomers in the audience, there’s a lotta Gen Xers, too: they’re the ones buying up those expensive seats, they’re the ones having those big Super Bowl parties – you know that! They’re the ones buying up what you’re selling,” he points out, before cementing his argument: “Pretty much everybody loves AC/DC… You play so many of their songs at every single game.”

After running into frontman Brian Johnson at an airport early last year, the US band Terrorizer posted on Facebook that the AC/DC frontman had confirmed he will be appearing on the band’s next album. In the video, Snider reminds us that the original (surviving) members of AC/DC are getting back together and will tour.

“When that hell’s bell gets struck and they start playing Thunderstruck and the stadium is screaming, ‘Thunder!’ just think about it!” Snider concludes. Sounds like a no-brainer to us!
