Dmas For NowSydney trio DMA’s have this morning gifted us the clip for new single In The Air, and revealed that their sophomore album, entitled For Now, will be coming in late April.

Label IOHYOU explained that For Now was primarily recorded at the boys’ home studio in Sydney’s Camperdown, after which they vamoosed to the studio of revered producer Kim Moyes. Says Kim: “I was brought on board to help the boys record drums for Dawning and In The Air but I fell so hard for all of the material in the demos that I knew fairly quickly that I would need to convince the band to let me sink my teeth much deeper. I truly loved working with these guys. So much.”

In The Air is the second single from the upcoming album (after Dawning which we heard late last year), and is a charming ballad; Tommy O’Dell’s voice remains pure as the driven snow, and Johnny Took’s acoustic still has that sweetly resigned je ne sais quoi.

For Now is out April 27 via IOHYOU.
