Get ready for a special international lunchtime edition of Isol-Aid, Lunch Without Borders.
Fresh from the team behind the weekend streaming festival Isol-Aid (you can read our review of the last edition here, and our interview with the fest’s co-creator Emily Ulman right here), this special eight course munch-time edition will take place over two hours from 11.30am Australian eastern time tomorrow (Wednesday, April 8). It will be moderated by the Isol-Aid Instagram page, where viewers can be directed to the individual artist accounts for each set.
Lunch Without Borders will see a selection of artists each play a short Instagram Live concert. The curated event will see each artist play 15 minute sets.
The line-up for this one-off event is Tennessee singer and boygenius member Julien Baker, Of Monsters and Men’s frontwoman Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, electro-folk falsetto star Asgeir, British indie electronic producer-singer Shura plus synthpop duo Overcoats.
Joining these overseas visitors for lunch will be locals Gordi, Katie Dey and Triple j Unearthed star George Alice.
