One of Guns N’Roses’ most popular and enduring songs is November Rain. Now we get to hear where it all began.

A simple piano-only demo, the song still stands up as something quite remarkable.

The audio video has been released to promote the new re-release of the band’s classic debut album Appetite for Destruction, which features all manner of demos and other unreleased items from the vault and is available from today.

This version of November Rain is only available on the limited “Locked N’ Loaded” edition, which carries a hefty price tag, but does feature four CDs, a Blu-ray disc (with audio, four music videos plus an unreleased promo), a 96-page hardcover book, never-before-seen band lithographs, replica concert tickets, a wall poster, temporary band member tattoos, a Robert Williams painting litho, and a replica Welcome to the Jungle video shoot invite flyer originally drawn by Slash.
