Acclaimed South African singer/songwriter Jeremy Loops’ second album, Critical As Water, is out today.
The theme of the album has been inspired by the very real water crisis in Loop’s hometown of Cape Town, South Africa. It’s set to become the first major city in the world to run out of water, with taps to homes to be turned off on April 22.
The 13-track album includes two collaborations with rapper Motheo Moleko, and the track listing goes a little something like this…
2. Rather Have Me Dead
7. Underwater Blues
8. Flash Floods
9. Dreaming Again
10. The Shore (feat. Motheo Moleko)
11. Runaway Kids (feat. Motheo Moleko)
12. Let It Burn
13. Hues of the Fall
