British electro-soul producer-twosome Jungle have just released the first track and clip from their upcoming third album, and we haven’t been this captivated by a dance-centric video since Justin Bieber’s Sorry.
Dance has been integral to Jungle’s spirit since their self-titled, Mercury Prize-nominated debut of 2014, but new album Loving In Stereo – slated to drop August 13 – will apparently kick things up several stories. Directed by Jungle bandmember Josh Lloyd Watson and his long-time visual collaborator Charlie Di Placido, this first single’s clip features two dancers each previously spotlighted in past multi-million-viewed Jungle videos: Che Jones (from Smile), and Mette Linturi (from Casio) – but revealing how they come to interact, and with whom, and in what sort of space, will ruin the experience of watching this one-shot wonder for yourself.
So just give yourself five-and-a-half minutes to bask in this piece of art, and then head over to JB’s site where you can pre-order Loving In Stereo on regular vinyl, blue marbled vinyl, or trusty ol’ CD.
Loving In Stereo by Jungle is out August 13 via Caiola/AWAL.
