Love him or hate him, Liam Gallagher and his prodigous gob have been great for a laugh over the past two decades – as well as delivering some truly great tunes.
His all like dead proper solo and stuff album As You Were hits on October 6, and For What It’s Worth – a very later Oasis-styled lighters aloft ballad – is the latest track to be teased from it.
The 12-track album sees the younger Gallagher brother hiring in different writers, including Greg Kurstin, who’s worked with everybody from Adele to the Foo Fighters. After all, he may be a great rock ‘n’ roll singer, but even Liam admits that he’s a bit crap at the lyrical thing. Hey, always play to your strengths!
Anyway, for what it’s worth here’s the For What It’s Worth lyric video…
