Sound the alarms, Parkway Drive fans, because the beloved Byron five-piece have just dropped their first new music since 2018 – and Glitch is an absolute corker.

The track comes four years after the boys’ ARIA-winning 2018 LP Reverence – read our review of that one here, or watch our chat with vocalist Winston McCall right here – and it’s absolutely worth the wait.

“Parkway Drive have always walked the line of balancing the light and the dark, and Glitch is no exception,” the band have said in their presser statement. “Sonically, we aimed to create a dark, heavy, and unnerving journey while still crafting a melody that burrows its way into your mind. Lyrically, the song deals with the phenomenon of night terrors and sleep paralysis. We all know the power our minds possess, but true terror manifests when your mind and all its fears takes physical control of your body. The glitch in your brain, where nightmares and reality cross.”

Does it grab you? We know it does us. Watch below, and keep your eyes peeled like sweaty grapes for some album news, sure to be on the way.
