Seattle stalwarts Pearl Jam will release their eleventh studio album, entitled Gigaton, on March 27.
Produced by Josh Evans and the band, Gigaton is Pearl Jam’s first studio album since 2013’s Lightning Bolt.
A first taste of the album in single Dance of the Clairvoyants is set to arrive “in the coming weeks”.
“Making this record was a long journey,” says the band’s Mike McCready. “It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. Collaborating with my bandmates on Gigaton ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times.”
