No, the hip-hop star hasn’t grabbed a hammer and joined some weird anti-Liverpudlian, pop-hating cult, rather Post Malone has set a new record for simultaneous top 20 singles in the Billboard US singles charts.

Up until this week The Beatles shared the pretty amazing honour of having had six singles in the top 20 at once, along with J Cole. But Malone has ambled along and kicked them not only to the kerb (or “curb” we guess, as we’re talking American), but into the next state.

Nine. Nine singles in the top 20 at once, with Psycho the highest at number two – and climbing. Then there’s 14 in the top 40 – or 18 in the top 100.

Love him or hate him, there’s no denying that this is a pretty amazing achievement by the 22-year-old Malone.

We probably should jam in a LANGUAGE WARNING now. Oh, we already have!
