With their new album Hi Viz looming large, The Presets have dropped a new single – and a bunch of tour dates.

Where do we start? OK, the new single. Entitled Downtown Shutdown, the funky chantathon was inspired by the Occupy Wall Street protests, and is the latest taste of Hi Viz.

The promo guff reckons that it’s in some ways “the long lost flipside to the Sydney duo’s protest classic, My People.” That’s a lofty claim, but we can’t deny that it’s a catchy little thing. Here’s proof…

Next? The tour.
