Well, they channel Prince in the song titling department, but the track’s another storming Presets dancefloor banger.
If the title is causing you any brain breakage, in English it’s “One for You and One for Me”.
It’s the second single to drop from The Presets’ new album, Hi Viz.
The 14U+14ME vid’s an absolute trip. Preset Julian Hamilton describes it as “a cataclysmic, freak-out created by US director duo Georgia… they basically crushed planet Earth with this one – thanks guys. Hope you all like it as much as we do.”
As for the album, The Presets have dragged in an interesting bunch of collaborators. Says Julian: “Hi Viz is our fourth studio album – an acid-soaked circle jerk of rave nuggets, cyber croons and pub techno, made with the help of our trusty friends Alison Wonderland, DMAs, Jake Shears, Shane Parsons (DZ Deathrays), Michael Di Francesco (Touch Sensitive), Rromarin, Fritz Helder… and…. hell, you get the idea – a whole stack of rad humans. Way too many to mention here.”
There’s no release date for Hi Viz yet, but hey, here’s the cover art…
Now, here’s the clip for 14U+14ME. We wonder if this one will end up in a car ad like both Are You the One? and Do What You Want did?
