English rock act Radiohead have just lobbed quite a nugget of news: alongside a new song from the Kid A and Amnesiac sessions, they’re reissuing both albums along with a third full record of exhumed material.

Titled Kid Amnesiae, its comprised of alternate versions and elements from Kid A (2000) and Amnesiac‘s (2001) material, plus B-Sides – and this is where the afore-mentioned new song, released today and titled If You Say The Word, comes from.

If You Say The Word slots effortlessly into the era which spanned Radiohead’s fourth and fifth albums, featuring giant floating reverb on Thom Yorke’s vocals (which still remain oddly intimate), Phil Selway’s tom-drumskins loose with lazy ride cymbal rasping alongside, and Johnny Greenwood’s guitar and synth experiments wheeling around speckles of celestial glock.

The package-deal will be available Nov 5 via Inertia; keep your eye out for pre-orders at JB, coming in a jiff.
