Troye hooked up with his bandmates via video for the performance, which looks a lot like this:
The song was originally set for release later this year, but considering world events Troye thought it was worth sharing early. Since it debuted on April 1, it’s clocked up millions of hits and inspired over 3,o00 fan videos.
Later this week, Troye will appear in Stonewall Gives Back!, which is a live-streaming concert for the LGBTQ+ nightlife community industry who’ve been directly impacted by COVID-19. It’s set to be hosted by Michelle Visage and Tyler Oakley, with guests and performers at the event including Alan Cumming, Allie X, Carlie Hanson, Darren Hayes, Kim Petras, Leland, Pabllo Vittar, Peppermint, Rufus Wainwright, Todrick Hall and, in a special performance, Cyndi Lauper. Check it out from 10am (AEST) this Friday, April 24 here.
