Southern rockers Kings Of Leon have confirmed an October release for their seventh studio album.

Walls was recorded in Los Angeles with Markus Dravs, best known for his work with Arcade Fire and Mumford & Suns. The follow-up to 2013’s Mechanical Bull, it’s the first not to be produced by their long-time collaborator Angelo Petraglia, with the band feeling that their partnership had grown too safe, according to Billboard.

“We said, ‘Let’s f–ing go to LA, eat some sushi, get some sunshine,’ ” frontman Caleb Followill told the US magazine. “The whole thing just felt a lot more organic.”
