Here are some choice snaps from our favourite acts at Road to Ultra Australia!

Now making hearts race in six continents around the world, Ultra Music Festival is a haven for those that love their music with as many beats per minute as possible. The EDM scene Down Under has sorely missed Stereosonic, but could Road to Ultra Australia possibly fill the Stez-shaped hole in our hearts?

The answer is yes. Though young and still finding its feet at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Road to Ultra Australia is a definite step in the right direction for lovers of dance and EDM. Food trucks, merch, and security you could have a genuine laugh with were all keys to the success of the day, if marred by a lack of signing and slightly cloudy skies. Police were out in force, ensuring everyone was in it for a long time and not just a good time, and everyone was ridiculously well-behaved; hard not to be with some of Australia’s – and the world’s – best dropping some of their most impressive sets in recent memory, in front of a heaving crowd.
