Santana is returning to Australia for a series of dates with special guests The Doobie Brothers.

Guitar legend Carlos Santana will kick off the Australian leg of his Transmogrify Tour in Perth on April 7 and will continue on to Adeladide (April 9), Melbourne (April 11), Sydney (April 13) and Canberra (April 15).

It will be Santana’s first Australian dates since 2011 and follow on from the release earlier this year of Santana IV, which reunited the seminal line-up that electrified the crowds at Woodstock in 1969.

They will be joined on the Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney dates by fellow ‘70s icons The Doobie Brothers. Aussie icon Russell Morris is also on the bill for Adelaide, while Tash Sultana will be the special guest in Canberra.
