It’s Tuesday at STACK HQ, and that means one of our esteemed staff members picks a ditty they’re listening to today and explains why they’re so fond of it. Today’s tune: Biffy Clyro, Friends and Enemies, chosen by Zoë Radas.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with well-produced stadium rock if it makes you feel things, let me tell you – and it’s even better if it’s Scottish, because then you get the super delightful accent. This is one of my favourites from Biffy Clyro’s epic Ellipsis (2016) and I come back to it all the time when I’ve had enough of noodly, mega-technical, exclusive stuff. Having said that, you try and sing along to the messed-up phrase cycle in the crowd-backed bridge. S-M-R-T!
