Vera Blue has released Mended and announced details of a new national tour.

This July through September, Vera Blue will take to the road in support of her debut album.

The new single, Mended, is extremely personal, according to the singer.

Mended is a very special song. It was about a relationship that I had a few years ago. It had been a little while since we’d ended it and we hadn’t made amends, said we were sorry. It’s funny because you think the song is going to be about resolution, but we haven’t quite made it there yet.”

The tour is in addition to the singer’s appearance at Splendour in the Grass in July. It’s only the start for Vera Blue.
